Benn Northover is a British actor, filmmaker and artist.[1]
Northover began his acting career in television with appearances in the TV dramas Silent Witness, Ultimate Force and Hostage to Terror. Following his film debut in House of Boys,[2] he subsequently appeared in a range of film roles including Lotus Eaters,[3] Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and director Mike Figgis’ Lucrezia Borgia.[4]
He has directed music videos for artists including The The[5] and Nick Drake.[6]
Since 1999 Northover has been a close collaborator [7][8] with the legendary filmmaker Jonas Mekas, leading to several film and video projects [9][10] and gallery exhibitions including The Fondazione Ragghianti[11] in Lucca, Italy, and at Agnes b’s Galerie du Jour in Paris.[12]
